Sights from Knockroe
Knockroe hill walk is a moderate walk that is 6km long and takes three hours to complete. It is an interesting walk that passes a WWII bomb site where three people were killed. There runes of dwelling houses and animal shelters along route. From the top of Knockroe there are excellent views of the surrounding area

We will pick you up from your accommodation in Kilkenny city or from a predetermined meeting point. Travel to our starting point which normally takes 45 minutes. We walk to the summit of the Knockroe take in the scenery and a light snack. Then return to the vehicle and drive to a cafe for some light refreshments and your free coffee. When the burnt calories are replenished we will drop you back to your accommodation or meeting point.
